Fire hydrant flushing schedule

Hagerstown, MD (June 15, 2011) - The City of Hagerstown Water Department advises that there will be Fire Hydrant Flushing in Zone 40 starting on Monday, June 20th through Friday, July 15th, 2011.
Zone 40 includes the Oak Ridge subdivision, Oak Ridge Drive, South Pointe, Sharpsburg Pike, Cross Creek, Carriage Hills, Claggetts Mill, St. James Village, Westfields and the Roxbury area.
Water customers in these areas are cautioned to continually check their water supply for discolored water conditions, which may occur because of this work, particularly when using automatic washing machines.
