Elk Run offer summer concerts on its beautiful 1750's estate. Open Monday, Thursday and Friday 12-4pm, Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 1-5pm. Closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
Coming in 2009
Knob Hall Winery of Clear Spring, Maryland
plans to begin making wine this year. The winery is located on the 173-acre Clear Spring farm owned and managed by Dick Seibert. When operational, Knob Hall Winery will be the only winery in Washington County, with several varieties of grapes planted and being planted.
The winery is one of eight new wineries expected to open during 2008 in the State of Maryland. There are 31 wineries licensed in Maryland.
