Effective arthritis pain relief is key to staying active

Effective arthritis pain relief is key to staying active

(NewsUSA)- As Americans get older, they find themselves walking just a little slower, running almost never and aching a lot.
Known to the medical profession as osteoarthritis, this joint-stiffening indicator of age is keeping many people from the activities they love: running, gardening and even playing with the grandchildren.
Medical professionals say there are many things to do that help slow this progressive disease or at least make it easier to bear.
One is to apply Celadrin, an anti-inflammatory ingredient. Another aid to aching joints is menthol, a topical analgesic or pain reliever.
Now an old favorite is being used in the fight against osteoarthritis: Frankincense.
Known today as Boswellia Serrata, Frankincense dates back to the dawn of history. In fact, it was once used as a soothing balm and makeup by the Pharaohs.
Mosaic Nutraceuticals, a Dallas-based company, has combined all three of these compounds--Celadrin, menthol and Frankincense--into a topical ointment designed to treat the aches and pains of osteoarthritis.
