The Leitersburg Haunted House

The Leitersburg Haunted House
Provided by The 50+ Dedicated Volunteers

The Leitersburg Haunted House has successfully operated every year for the last 29 years. We are proud to say that all of the proceeds have been returned to the Leitersburg Community.
The funds maintain and operate the Leitersburg Youth Organization, help fund all of the Ruritan projects, supports the youth ministry, and contribute to the local Boy scouts, as well as many other projects too numerous to mention.
The Haunted House is very unique compared to others. Upon entering the building, spectators sit down for a fifteen-minute show, which often involves participation of many of our visitors. The Haunted House also includes lots of walk through mazes that even our own helpers sometimes get lost in. From start to finish, the thrills last between 25-30 minutes.
Safety and control are very important to us. Our program meets all local building and Fire Marshall requirements to assure everyone's safe travel through the building. We utilize a minimum of 20 adults to control any situation that could be a potential problem. We pride ourselves on even trying to control language and behavior so parents can proudly bring their kids.
We are happy to announce that this year's show is totally different, with an all new theme. There are over 50 people involved in making out 2007 Haunted House the most exciting ever.
The Leitersburg Haunted House will open October 12, 14, 19, 20, 26 & 27. When you drive up and see long lines, remember that 175 people go through the Haunted House per hour - so don't get discouraged. We also have a program to allow small children go get in free in order to help parents save money when bringing the entire family. For additional information call our hotline at 301-766-0039.
Join us, this year, for the final Haunted House ever. You will have a great time and you can be proud that your money is used to make all of our community projects successful.
