Anderson Photograph's 2013 Anderson Alleyways Calendar Contest Winners Announced

HAGERSTOWN, MD: Anderson Photographs announces the contest winners for the Anderson Alleyways 2013 pet photo calendar. Additionally, Anderson Photography will be donating a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the Dawg Desk Calendar to the Humane Society of Washington County.
The Canine Pin up winners for 2013 are as follows, January will be 'Maggie May Freckles' the Great Dane owned/loved by Charity Greenfield, February will be 'Gunter' a Boykin Spaniel owned/loved by Reginald Fallin. March will feature 'Charlie' a mixed breed owned/loved by Angie & Tom Riford, April will be 'Bianca' a mixed breed owned/loved by Angie & Tom Riford, May 'Bella' a sheltie owned/loved by Ann Mathena, June we will see 'Charlie', a Jack Russell owned/loved by the Hogan & Carr Family, July is 'Madeleine', owned/loved by Ann Rotz, August will be 'Peter' the Black Russian Terrier owned/loved by Barbara Yowell, in September 'Murphy' a mixed breed owned/loved by Shannon Cianelli & David Kloos will ring in fall, in October 'Poogie' a Yorkshire Terrier owned/loved by Jackie and Robert Poor will be seen on the calendar and in November 'Wiski' who is owned/loved by The Smith Family will bring in the chilly month before years end and 'Jack' a Labrador Retriever who is owned/loved by The Foster Family will close out the year by being the last calendar canine in December 2013.
This fun and imaginative fundraiser was the brainchild of Melanie Anderson of Anderson Photographs. It began in the fall with canine pin up hopefuls having their photographs taken for a special promotional rate then the dog parents choose one photograph for submission in the contest. Winners were chosen and announced in December. Anyone interested in purchasing the calendar may stop by Anderson Photograph's Studio at 2 South Potomac Street in Hagerstown, MD, or by calling them at 301-393-4515.

The Humane Society of Washington County is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for animals by sheltering those at risk and providing educational programs that strive to deepen the community's commitment to humane values.
