Marley the beagle

Wisdom From a Furry Friend
Marley the beagle

Hello. I am Marley and I am a beagle. I am a real gentleman, or so I am told by the folks at the Humane Society of Washington County where I live now. I am 7 and a half years of age but I am not old yet. I am very calm and gentle and I love people. I was with a family but they didn't want me any more so I am sad now. I am looking for someone to come take me home and love me for the rest of my life.
Because I am over five years of age older I can be adopted for a reduced fee. And if the person that adopts me is over 55 years old I can be adopted for a further discount. And if you are over 65 years of age and need some help to adopt a pet the Silver Lining for Seniors program can help with the adoption fees. Isn't that wonderful that there are programs at the Humane Society that will help me find my forever home? They have lots of programs here that help lots of people and pets. Their programs are: low cost adoptions, low cost spay and neuter programs, a pet food bank, the Animal Health Voucher to help dogs and cats in Washington County be vaccinated against numerous contagious diseases, the low cost rabies and microchip clinics, and they have Humane Education programs to promote respect for all living creatures.
If you are interested in using any of the programs please contact the Humane Society. One of their experienced customer service representatives will help you. They can let you know if there are funds available in those programs and they can help determine if you qualify for them. If you are interested in donating to any of the programs, or are interested in finding out how to help the Humane Society they can help you with that also. Maybe you would like to become a volunteer or donate to the organization. All donations are greatly appreciated.
