Antietam Recreation's Century of Song Dinner and Show

"The Century of Song" Dinner and Show will open Saturday March 17 and continue March 23 and 24 and March 30 & 31. The musical journey thru the "good ole days" of the last century, will include high energy music, dance, and comedy with Rock & Roll, 70's Disco, Country Legends, Southern Gospel, and Classical Music plus a little bit of Jazz, Broadway, and Pop.
The evening begins at 6 p.m. with pre-dinner activities including Antique photos, old cars display (including a Cobra) and root beer floats. The dinner at 6:30 includes grilled chicken tenders, potato wedges, green beans, Grandma's creamy cole slaw or applesauce, buttered yeast rolls, and for dessert, hot apple pie and vanilla ice cream. Beverages include Coca Cola, lemonade, water and coffee.
Included in the talented lineup of the show will be Tim Rotz, director and singer. His songs will include many of the top 10 favorites of the last 5 decades.
Also in the show are Elvis Impersonator and singer David King, dancers Paul and Melissa Watson, (owners of Dancing with Magick studio), and Gymnast/Dancers Rebekah and Kaitlyn Shirk (owners of On Stage Performance). Other songs will include "Highlights from Grease", "Diamonds are a Girls Best Friend", "Leader of the Pack", "Great balls of Fire", "Uptown Girl", and comedy from the Andy Griffin Show.
Dates of the show are Friday and Saturday, March 17, 23, 24, 30, and 31 at 6 p.m. and cost $29 general admission and $27 for seniors. Reservations are required.
