Potomac Heights Elementary students make Pinwheels for Peace

Hagerstown, MD (September 22, 2011): In observance of International Day of Peace, Potomac Heights Elementary School displayed 252 pinwheels for peace along the school driveway on Wednesday, September 21, 2011. The assignment from art teacher Nancy Green to each student was to think about and discuss what peace meant to him or her and what things represent peace. The students wrote or drew what peace meant to them on their pinwheels.
