HCC student wins Kline scholarship

(Hagerstown, MD): Hagerstown Community College student Kenneth Frederickson, of Hagerstown, recently won the Helen and Gene Kline Scholarship for the fall 2011 semester.
Frederickson, 19, has a 3.74 GPA and is double-majoring in mathematics and engineering. He started at HCC as a mathematics major before discovering an interest in engineering during his freshman year. Frederickson will complete his mathematics degree in spring 2012 and his engineering degree the following fall. After graduation, Frederickson plans to transfer to a four-year school to complete his bachelor's degree, with the hopes of one day working in the engineering field.
