April Students of the Month at Washington County Technical High School

April Students of the Month at Washington County Technical High School

Brett Younker is a senior enrolled in the Pre-Engineering class at Washington County Technical High School (WCTHS). Andrew's academic schedule includes Pre-Engineering, Advanced Placement Language, Advanced Placement Calculus, Forensic Sciences, and Digital Electronics. Brett's home school is Hancock High School. Brett currently maintains a 3.41 GPA, and works at the Woodmont Rod and Gun Club. After Brett graduates from WCTHS, he plans to attend college at West Virginia University in Mechanical Engineering, with a goal of working as a firearm designer for Heckler and Koch. Brett is currently a member of the Society of American Military Engineers. Brett would like to thank his parents, friends, and teachers for their continued support and guidance in all of his endeavors.
Haley Dagenhart is a senior enrolled in the Biomedical Sciences class at WCTHS. Haley's academic schedule includes Biomedical Sciences, Advanced Placement English Language, Advanced Placement Calculus, Honors Psychology, and Yearbook. Haley's home school is Boonsboro High School. Haley is Editor-in-Chief of the yearbook and is currently a member of the National Technical Honor Society and has a 3.79 GPA. Haley enjoys painting, drawing, and playing the piano. Haley works as an office assistant at H&R Block in Brunswick and is an active member of the Brownsville Church of the Brethren, where she participates in activities such as volunteering at the Rescue Mission in Hagerstown. After graduation, Haley will attend Salisbury University to pursue a degree in Marketing. She hopes to own her own business someday. Haley would like to thank her parents, teachers and friends for their continued support and guidance in all of her endeavors.
