The figures are in and the winning foursome is...

Hagerstown, MD: The Humane Society of Washington County (HSWC) and What a Tan announce the winning foursome of the 3rd annual Puttin' for Paws Golf Tournament as Howard Rockwell, Tom Henderson, Chris Bushey and Frank Novinger. The Captain's Choice Best Ball Scramble tournament was held on Friday August 13th at Black Rock Golf Course. Proceeds from this fundraiser benefited the Humane Society of Washington County.
Co hosted by the HSWC and Greg and Ruth Smith of What a Tan, the tournament raised over $4,500.00 for the shelter and had 82 golfers. Paul Miller, HSWC Executive Director, was very pleased. "This was a tremendous turnout for our tournament," said Miller. "I want to say thank you to Greg and Ruth Smith for all their help with the tournament and congratulations to the winning foursomes." Other winning foursomes were: 2nd place 1st flight were Dustin Moschetti, Craig Hood, Al Bendell and David Riser, 1st place 2nd Flight Steve Bitner, Joni Bitner, Rodger Grimm and Vicki Grimm, 2nd Place 2nd Flight Ron Smith, Dan Smith, Clark Pennington and Todd Grimes. Longest Drive was won by Steve Parrott. Closest to the Pin went to Chris Bushey.
Blackrock Golf Course pro Tim Reeves made a special contribution to the tournament by holding a Beat the Pro contest. The daylong contest resulted in a donation of $282.00 when Tim donated his half and the winning golfer donated their winning half back to the shelter.
Greg Smith of What a Tan was also very happy with the tournament. "I am really pleased with the turn out for this year's tournament. We had an increase of 14 golfers over last year and I think that is tremendous."
